Chapter 5

I have now finished chapter 5 of "The False Prince". During this chapter Mr. Conner begins talking to them by asking them questions about Carthya. Sage is slow to answer because he is not originally from Carthya but the other orphans know most of the answers scene they came from Cartyha. Mr. Conner explains to them who will be moving to king once the old king dies. He tells them that a man named Veldergrath will take over when the king dies. Veldergrath is a bad guy who has made his way to the top be killing and destroying the people who are in front of him. Mr. Conner thinks that once Veldergrath becomes king the kingdom will fall apart. Veldergrath has lots of enemies but he also has lots of powerful friends so he can not be taken down. After Mr. Conner tells Sage this, Sage thinks that he might have to over through Veldergrath to save Carthya.
