Chapter 3

I have finished another chapter of "The False Prince" and Sage is beginning to figure out why he was chosen. He is trying to escape the carriage while Mr. Conner is finding another boy in a different orphanage. While Sage is in the carriage he tries to convince the other two orphans to escape but they will not try to escape. This surprises Sage but they explain to Sage that their life's are not looking good and they are hoping that they can get something good out of this experience. Despite what they tell Sage, Sage still try's to escape. When Sage gets out of the carriage one of Mr. Conner's guards sees Sage and grabs him. The guard threatened to kill Sage, but Sage tells the guard he will start acting better, so the guard let him go this time. Once Mr. Conner came back out of the orphanage with another boy Sage asked Mr. Conner what was going on and he told Sage that the patience is the first mark of a ruler. With that information Sage had a clue as to what all of this could be about. In conclusion, during this chapter Sage begins to figure out what is happening and begins to make his attitude better.

  1. Thomas from The Maze Runner sounds very similar to Sage. Thomas is confused when he wakes up in a unfamiliar place and only remembers his name.

  2. This sounds like a book with a lot of emotion and a lot of relatible parts. And it kind of sounds like the whole over throw the government thing. These are the kind of books I really like, so now The False Prince is on my 'to read list'
